We offer FIVE different sports here at GCAA.

Baseball

Baseball has two seasons per year, except for Biggs League (only Spring season).

  • Recreational Baseball

    Ages 4 to 13 years old in the fall, and ages 4 to 15 years old in the spring. We also offer All Stars in the spring seasons.

    • T-Ball League: Ages 4 - 6
    • Coach Pitch 8U League: Ages 7 - 8
    • Minors 10U League: Ages 9 - 10
    • Majors 12U League: Ages 11 - 12
    • Majors 13U League: Ages 13 (Fall Only)
    • Biggs League: Ages 13 - 15 (Spring Only)

  • Travel Baseball

    For our more advanced players, we offer Travel Baseball with the Cleveland Wildcats. We have Wildcats teams ranging from D1 to new D3 teams. We currently have teams in these age divisions:

    • Winter League: Our Winter League Play is run in partnership with Johnston County Athletic Association and we do not offer an in-house league.
    • Summer Programs: We do not offer League Play for Girls in the summer. We do plan to offer an open gym/clinic and camps.

  • Travel Softball

    For our more advanced players, we offer Travel Softball with the Cleveland Angels. Numbers permitting, each year the Cleveland Angels teams are formed for girls based on birth year, for ages approximately 9 to 17.

Each year we have grown in numbers and now have a maximum of 200 registered players during both our Fall and Spring seasons.

We have three separate Soccer programs at GCAA:

All three of the soccer programs have two seasons per year. Spring season starts in January/February, and Fall season starts in August. Registration starts in November/December and June/July for these respective seasons.

Recreation Soccer

GCAA Recreation Soccer is a volunteer based soccer program for players of all skill levels between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. We strive to provide a program which supports having fun, learning and developing skills of the sport, and making friends along the way.

Recreation Soccer has two seasons, offered in the Spring and in the Fall.

The Cleveland United Academy Soccer program is the bridge for 9U and 10U players as they move from Recreation Soccer towards Travel Soccer.

The Academy program is a player development program for committed young soccer players looking to advance to the next level of competitive play.

    • Player Development: Prioritizes individual growth over win-loss records.
    • Technical Skills: Emphasizes mastering fundamental soccer techniques.
    • Tactical Understanding: Fosters strategic thinking and decision-making.

Travel Soccer

Our commitment to providing a high-level soccer experience is balanced with a focus on creating an affordable, fun, and flexible environment for families. By emphasizing player development both on and off the field, we aim to cultivate well-rounded athletes and individuals.

Numbers permitting, each year Cleveland United travel teams are formed for both boys and girls teams from ages 11U through 19U.
