Welcome to GCAA Volleyball

GCAA has offered volleyball to the Cleveland and surrounding communities in Clayton, NC since 2009. Each year we have grown in numbers and now have a maximum of 200 registered during both our Fall and Spring seasons. We currently have two age divisions: Lower (ages 9-11) and Upper (ages 12-14).

Mission: Our goal is to teach players the fundamentals of the game, to work on individual growth as a player, to teach teamwork and sportsmanship, and to have a great time! Many of our players have goals of playing at higher levels and it is our goal to prepare them for it to the best of our ability.

During our Spring season (mid-March to beginning of June) we offer a 2 week Skills and Drills Clinic, and a 6-7 week mini-season, followed by an end of the season tournament. Skills and Drills is two nights a week per age division, and our mini-season will be two nights a week practices with games on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

During our Fall season (mid-August to end of October) we assess the players and then break into teams and have two nights a week practices with weekend games and an end of season tournament.

**Please Note that Assessments and Practices are closed to parents. Only coaches with background checks and players are allowed in the gym.**

We also have several visiting coaches from our local Middle and High school teams and some triangle area club volleyball coaches to instruct the players during our clinics.
