GCAA has offered volleyball to the Cleveland and surrounding communities in Clayton, NC since 2009. Each year we have grown in numbers and now have a maximum of 200 registered during both our Fall and Spring seasons. We currently have two age divisions: Lower (ages 9-11) and Upper (ages 12-14).
Mission: Our goal is to teach players the fundamentals of the game, to work on individual growth as a player, to teach teamwork and sportsmanship, and to have a great time! Many of our players have goals of playing at higher levels and it is our goal to prepare them for it to the best of our ability.
During our Spring season (mid-March to beginning of June) we offer a 2 week Skills and Drills Clinic, and a 6-7 week mini-season, followed by an end of the season tournament. Skills and Drills is two nights a week per age division, and our mini-season will be two nights a week practices with games on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
During our Fall season (mid-August to end of October) we assess the players and then break into teams and have two nights a week practices with weekend games and an end of season tournament.
We also have several visiting coaches from our local Middle and High school teams and some triangle area club volleyball coaches to instruct the players during our clinics.

Coaches Registration for Spring Season Is Open
Registration Fees are currently $150
Skill and Drills for 9-11(lower) will be March 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th.
A-L(last name) will be 5:30pm-7pm. M-Z(last name) will be 7:15pm-8:45pm.
Skills and Drills for 12-14(upper) will be March 17th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 26th, and 28th.

Mandatory Player Assessments for 9-11(lower) Will be March 31st
A-L (last name) will be 6pm-7pm. M-Z (last name) will be 7pm-8pm
Mandatory Player Assessments for 12-14(upper) will be April 1st
A-L (last name) will be 6pm-7:30pm. M-Z (last name) will be 7:30pm-9pm.
Player Draft will be April 4th.
*If you can't make your assigned assessment date please contact GCAA as soon as possible. Failure to attend assessments will result in your player being deemed ineligible to participate this season and NO refunds will be issued!*
Practices will start week of April 7th
First Games will be weekend of April 26th
Tournament week will start week of June 2nd
